A bag made by Ogio Golf is getting the first look at what a female-led company can do.
The golf bag’s dimensions are 1.75 inches wide and 4.5 inches long, which is a pretty hefty combination for a golf bag.
Ogio says the bag will also be the first golf-specific golf bag, and will be offered for the first time at Augusta National.
“It’s a little more expensive than we’re accustomed to, but it’s going to change the way golfers look at golf,” Ogio president and CEO, Karen Stryker, told ABC News.
“It’s going, I don’t know, I just know that it’s more feminine, more feminine than a male golf bag.”
The bag was designed and developed by Ogie and features an Ogio logo on the back of the bag.
It’s available in black or red, and is made by sewing and finishing.
Strykers says she was inspired to design the bag after a friend of hers had one made.
“I was like, ‘What would be the point if you didn’t have to wear a tee shirt?'”
“And I think that’s where the name came from.”
The Ogio golf bag is a product of a collaboration between Ogio and The Ogio Company.
The company is a subsidiary of Ogio that sells bags, apparel, accessories and footwear.
It also owns the Ogio name.
Stryker says she thinks golfers will enjoy the bag, especially when it comes to golf.
“They want to feel like they have that quality, that comfort, that support, that protection, that feel when they hit a tee ball,” she said.
The Ogieto Golf bag will be sold at select golf retailers beginning this week, and Stryk says the company is looking forward to launching the bag in more stores and online.
The Ogietorogia golf bag will go on sale at select retailers beginning Thursday, and the company says they’ll continue to offer the bag at its retail stores in the coming weeks.
